I don’t know about you but I miss getting dressed each day. Don’t get me wrong, I am still going through my closet on the regular, trying on so many of the clothes that I thought I’d be wearing this spring, wearing full outfits just to go to the grocery store, and making coordinating my lounge outfits to make me feel as luxe as possible.
But it’s not enough. Trying on clothes doesn’t give you the same feeling you’d get from leaving the house for the first time in out outfit. My community at the local grocery store clearly do not appreciate my carefully styled fits, as evidence from the 0 compliments and 40 weird looks I got on the last shopping venture. And lets face it, there are only so many ways to mix and match a gray pair of joggers, and I’ve tried them all.
It’s not only that I miss the day to day of getting dressed but I miss the special occasion that getting dressed can be, especially when you are preparing for an actual special occasion. As in for an event, most of which have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely. I miss getting dressed to the nines, donning event makeup, hair, and most importantly attire!
If you too miss getting dressed, allow yourself to dream about the future where events are in abundance by scrolling through these gorgeous fits from 5 Australian influencers.

I don’t think I’ve put anything red on my body in the past 3 months. A red lip is the first makeup look I’ll be trying when things open up, and why not pair it with an open slit sequined one shoulder dress like influencer Dilya Diaz did here?

Try out a fun and flirty lilac dress next time you want to turn some heads like youtuber Chloe Morello did here. Pair yours with a silver clutch and another red lip.

Lucky for you, simple slip dresses are a timeless piece so don’t fret if you bought one this spring and didn’t get the chance to wear it. Blogger Tasha Oakley makes a case for modernizing it with on-trend accessories like square toed sandals and a shoulder bag.

Go all out the next opportunity you get to, and wear that sequined two piece number you’ve been saving. Content creator Micah Gianelli keeps all eyes on the outfit by styling it with a nude bag and hoops.

Blogge Pia Muhelenbeck proves that sequins can look just as good in non-traditional colors. Style a sequin dress in unique colors with staples like metallic shoes, gold hoops, and a red lip.
What do you plan to wear to your next special occasion?
