I don’t know about you but I miss getting dressed each day. Don’t get me wrong, I am still going through my closet on the regular, trying on so many of the clothes that I thought I’d be wearing this spring, wearing full outfits just to go to the grocery store, and making coordinating my lounge outfits to make me feel as luxe as possible.
But it’s not enough. Trying on clothes doesn’t give you the same feeling you’d get from leaving the house for the first time in out outfit. My community at the local grocery store clearly do not appreciate my carefully styled fits, as evidence from the 0 compliments and 40 weird looks I got on the last shopping venture. And lets face it, there are only so many ways to mix and match a gray pair of joggers, and I’ve tried them all.
It’s not only that I miss the day to day of getting dressed but I miss the special occasion that getting dressed can be, especially when you are preparing for an actual special occasion. As in for an event, most of which have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely. I miss getting dressed to the nines, donning event makeup, hair, and most importantly attire!
